If you don't already know me, I am Walter's mother and this Web Site, created by Bill Kuder and Friends, in honor of Wally Poirier, is a tremendous vehicle for sharing memories and ideas. We are still working on trying to find Walter.

We don't know if Wally is dead or alive. It is my feeling that, because he was sworn into Peace Corps under oath to the USA, Peace Corps/USA have a legal and moral obligation to find him.

Wally was always trying to bring people together - sometimes it got him into trouble. Let's use this site to bring past, present and future friends together. Please spend a few minutes (or as long as you need) to share some memories and thoughts. Sincerely, Sheila Poirier
